Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take on the role of Head of Financial Reporting & Accounting. This role is integral to our financial management, requiring the incumbent to build from scratch and then manage the system for creating management accounts across our group of companies. This includes the accounting of IP assets, coordinating independent accountants in different jurisdictions in the preparation of tax and financial statements, and ensuring compliance with international standards of financial accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Build a system for the creation of management accounts for each division of the group from scratch.
• Personally be responsible for the creation of accurate and timely management accounts at the holding and headquarter level.
• Establish and manage a system for the accounting of IP assets created within the group.
• Coordinate with independent accountants in different jurisdictions where divisions of the group operate in the preparation of tax and financial statements.
• Ensure that all financial operations are in line with international standards of financial accounting.
• Create financial plans for separate projects within the group.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a financial manager, accounting supervisor, or relevant role.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing financial reporting systems.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
• Strong problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• CPA or CMA is a plus.
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a senior financial management role, particularly in building and implementing financial management systems.
• Significant experience in the finance industry, including finance-related software and IP accounting.
• Knowledge of digital asset exchanges and blockchain technology.
• Experience coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.
• A thorough understanding of the principles of finance, accounting, with a broad understanding of private and public financing mechanisms.
• Experience with international financial regulations and standards.
