Sii Ukraine is a part of Sii Group — one of the largest international IT, engineering, digital & BPO services vendors.
We support our clients within the scope of testing, software development, infrastructure management as well as system integration and system maintenance. We specialize also in the industrial automation, we offer advanced solutions in the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering, process control and production management.
We are looking for CAD Designers to join our Product Design Studio within the Engineering Competency Center, working on various projects from the Aerospace industry. The Product Design Studio provides engineering support in the implementation of physical product designs, from concept through product development, optimization to serial production.
We closely cooperate with Airbus in Toulouse in the areas of design, calculations and research. Our experience is built on participation in the largest projects of the European aviation industry, including Airbus A350, A400M, A320/321 or Beluga. Sii supports major European players in the Aerospace and Defence industries and we’re currently working on expanding our Aerospace offering.
Tasks:
- Creating detailed three-dimensional models of aerospace components using CAD software such as CATIA, NX, SolidWorks
- Generating precise technical drawings, including sections based on the 3D models for manufacturing, assembly, and testing purposes
- Designing assemblies and sub-assemblies of aerospace systems, ensuring proper fit, function, and integration of components
- Providing support to structural engineers by creating CAD models and drawings for finite element analysis and structural simulations
- Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Updating and revising existing CAD models and drawings based on feedback, design changes, or new requirements
- Performing checks and reviews of CAD models and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Assisting in the creation of prototypes and mock-ups based on CAD designs to support testing, evaluation, and validation processes
- Keeping up to date with the latest CAD software tools and technologies
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA, NX, or SolidWorks
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of aerospace design principles and industry standards
- Experience in creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for aircraft components
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to develop and refine designs
- Familiarity with structural analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) is a plus
- Experience with prototyping and testing processes is desirable
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry or a related field
