• Lead the division ensuring alignment to the Sales & Production organizations
• Management of relationship with Global Procurement team to drive maximum benefit in global and centre led categories
• Leadership of the country teams responsible for delivering strategic commercial agreements which optimise value for money
• Ensure compliance to the Category Strategies developed by the Central Procurement Team, by the Region’s internal customers and Procurement teams
• Adhere to standard ITG global procurement processes
• Support country teams in applying global standard processes, offering advice and guidance as necessary
• Responsible for ensuring early procurement engagement in significant spend areas to maximise procurement's impact
• Develop deep product and supplier knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the spend managed
• Ensure contingency planning is in place for all key suppliers and services
• Develop relationships and continually work with key stakeholders ensuring that commercial delivery and internal service are equally balanced
• Manage relationships and performance of key strategic suppliers
• Act as key interface between Central Procurement team and divisional/regional hubs
• Raise instances of non-compliance to ITG internal customer ways of working (where this results in less than optimum benefits been realised)
• Ensure adequate analysis and planning is undertaken to enable effective supplier negotiations which deliver a world class cost base
• Responsible for tracking both country and divisional benefits
• Raise awareness of the role of Global Procurement across the division/region
• Manage direct report's career development
• Manage and control the overhead budget for Region
