    Middle UI/UX Designer (Part-time)

    Cunami Web is looking for a creative, energetic, and passionate Middle UI/UX Designer to join our remote team! If you’re ready to bring your design skills to exciting projects, we want to hear from you!

    Initially, this is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week for ~3−6 months. Upon demonstrating successful performance, there’s an opportunity to switch to a full-time.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Lead Designer in crafting UI/UX for landing pages, e‑commerce sites, mobile apps, and dashboards;
    • Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces of various web and mobile projects;
    • Creating and maintaining design systems (utilize components, styles, auto-layouts) that would be self-explanatory for other designers and developers, and ensuring consistency across all platforms;
    • Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and final mockups in Figma;
    • Ensure designs adapt seamlessly across devices, screen sizes, and platforms;
    • Present and explain design concepts and revisions to team members and clients;
    • Prepare moodboards and develop concise design briefs;
    • Join client calls to gather requirements and translate them into actionable design tasks;

    What we expect from you

    • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX designer role;
    • Outstanding portfolio that showcases your best work and examples of real finished projects in Figma (matters more than a CV for us);
    • Expert in Figma; Familiarity with Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator;
    • A solid understanding of design, typography, and color theory;
    • Proficiency in creating of adaptive and responsive design;
    • High level of attentiveness to details;
    • Understanding and utilization of basic design methodologies and principles like User-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Atomic Design, etc;
    • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS;
    • Openness to constructive criticism and willingness to implement it;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (at least Pre-intermediate+ English, Intermediate Russian);
    • Highly responsible, proactive, and collaborative mindset;
    • Available ≥ 20 hours/week for the initial part‑time period;

    Nice‑to‑haves

    • Motion design skills;
    • Experience in mobile app design guidelines (HIG, Material Design);
    • Graphic‑design skills (creating visual brand identities and guidelines, print‑material preparation);
    • Utilizing AI tools in practice (Midjourney, Recraft, Sora, ChatGPT);
    • Experience with Jira, Trello, Slack, or similar tracking and communication tools;
    • It will be a plus if you have a backup power source in case of blackouts to stay connected with team.
