Financial Director

United Plumbing is a local Californian plumbing company specializing in water heater installation and repair.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to oversee all aspects of our company’s financial management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of financial operations, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of driving financial success. The Financial Director will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, managing risk, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company’s objectives and drive sustainable growth.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance against key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address issues and capitalize on opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls to mitigate risk and safeguard assets.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact the company’s financial position and performance.
• Ensuring well-coordinated teamwork of the financial department, promoting staff development, stimulating employee motivation, as well as the ability to automate financial accounting and control processes.

Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or CMA is in a plus.
• 2 and more years of experience in financial management roles, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute financial plans that drive business results.
• Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
