DevOps Engineer, GitHub Workflow Specialist

About Us

We’re a growing team operating a powerful enterprise system that is being used by team members around the world. As we scale, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our GitHub DevOps workflows—keeping our deployments smooth, our environments aligned, and our branches clean.

This is a fully remote position supporting operations for a system used globally. Fluent to advanced English communication is needed, and availability to work during the US Mountain Time zone with some possible support outside of this schedule is required.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain GitHub branches across multiple environments (dev, staging, production)
• Review and merge pull requests, ensuring high-quality, conflict-free code integration
• Write, edit, and troubleshoot GitHub Actions YAML for streamlined workflows
• Implement and maintain auto-deployment workflows for various environments
• Coordinate and manage CI/CD pipelines for web and mobile projects (if applicable)
• Help enforce Git flow best practices across development teams
• Ensure DevOps operations remain tidy, reliable, and secure

What We’re Looking For

• Fluent to advanced English—both written and verbal communication
• Proven experience with GitHub (share your contributions or projects!)
• Solid experience writing and maintaining GitHub Actions and workflows
• Strong grasp of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Confident Git skills (merging, rebasing, conflict resolution, tagging, branching strategies)
• Experience deploying web applications or backend services
• Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously, across time zones
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Bonus Points For Experience With:

• Docker (containerization and orchestration)
• Cloudflare (DNS, CDN, SSL, security settings)
• Nginx (reverse proxy configurations and performance tuning)
• GoDaddy or similar domain/DNS management platforms
