Dispatch Assistant

Position Summary:

The Dispatch Assistant will support our dispatch and operations team by tracking performance metrics and assisting in operational data analysis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the efficiency of daily dispatch operations and the overall performance of both drivers and dispatchers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support dispatcher in managing daily operations for a fleet of 20+ trucks
• Communicate with brokers: send updates, request documents, and follow up on issues such as lumper, detention, layover, and TONU
• Accurately update, manage, and close loads in the TMS system
• Monitor load status and ensure timely responses to broker inquiries and changes
• Collaborate with drivers, dispatcher, and other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure all required paperwork (BOLs, PODs, etc.) is collected and shared with brokers on time

Requirements:

• Previous experience in trucking/logistics preferred (dispatch, tracking, or operations).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with TMS software and tracking systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English (B1+ preferred).
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time position, working remotely during US business hours. (6AM — 4PM CST)
• Stable internet connection and personal computer required.
• Training and support provided by the Dispatch Manager.
