Supply engineer (USA)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineer to join our team. As an Engineer specializing in glazing construction, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various aspects of our projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of our glazing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Working with AutoCAD software.
• Verifying the parameters of signed client drawings and final estimates to ensure compliance with order history and changes in measurement dimensions.
• Monitoring adjustments in estimates/work documentation. Working collaboratively with project managers, sales managers, and designers to address discrepancies.
• Initiating materials for production: initiating glass work, checking for hardware availability, ordering non-standard hardware, products, and materials as needed.
• Tracking expenses for glass orders, hardware, custom products, and various services.
• Searching for and engaging new suppliers.
• Providing pricing and information upon request to the budget department for estimates based on standard and non-standard solutions.
• Consulting with sales managers, project managers, and designers to address questions regarding the feasibility of current standard and non-standard solutions.
• Managing inventory.
• Assisting the warehouse department in determining the suitability of various components and products as stated in the production drawings.
• Monitoring the preparation of necessary technical documentation and ordering of components from steel containers within their arrival period.
• Ordering consumable materials for the installation department and warehouse (by calls)
• Tracking the readiness of orders with various suppliers and addressing issues related to the delivery or pickup of these orders to warehouses across the USA

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong written English skills for communication with suppliers and colleagues С1 (primarily speaking).
• Russian native.
• High technical literacy for understanding and interpreting drawings.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills for checking drawings, final estimates, and tracking changes in measurements.
• Verification and resolution of discrepancies in estimates and work documentation.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with project managers, sales managers, and designers in addressing issues and ensuring project success.
• Interaction with suppliers and negotiation skills.
• Flexibility to handle various tasks, starting from preparing technical documentation to ordering components.
