Опис вакансії

An international pharmaceutical company is looking for a specialist to the vacancy of Chief Accountant.

Key functional responsibilities:

  • Manage execution of accounting operations: assure accuracy, timeliness, and conformity with professional accounting standards and best practices.
  • Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting; control monthly COGS calculations, tax calculations etc.;
  • Ensure a timely and accurate accounting close driving compliance and efficiency across the accounting and reporting functions.
  • Preparation and submission of Statutory and Corporate reports.
  • Preparation and submission of Transfer pricing reports.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT declaration, leading the process of VAT reimbursement.
  • Lead in the planning and execution of accounting policy and process improvement efforts.
  • Oversee and optimize processes to drive an effective, efficient and timely financial close.
  • Partner with the CFO to determine accounting and tax implications for all material business decisions.
  • Own the relationships with the Company’s auditors and ensure a strong internal control environment.
  • Integrate and transform finance systems and innovate to implement robotics, new technologies to drive efficiency in the accounting processes.
  • Lead accounting team, manage and drive performance and professional development; be fully responsible for budget and personnel resources allocation: ensure the adequate use of human and economic resources in order to achieve the department goals in an efficient manner, keeping the costs under control; ensure talent management and people development.
  • Ensure compliance to all relevant national and company guidelines and regulations.

Requirements for professional experience and education:

  • Degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant positions.
  • Solid accounting expertise (international qualifications like ACCA, DipIFR, IFRS, completed or in progress, would be an advantage).
  • Experience at production companies is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in 1C, BAS, SAP or other software required.
  • Proactive mindset, ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and business management skills.
  • Proficient organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks.
  • Effective and inspiring team leadership skills.
  • Upper Intermediate level of English.
