Dispatch Team Lead (Logistics)

About the Role

Load N Go is seeking a strong and proactive Dispatch Team Lead to supervise our dispatcher group and oversee the daily performance of several company trucks. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on dispatch experience who is ready to take ownership of both team outcomes and operational results.

As Team Lead, you will balance people management and personal dispatch execution, coordinating operations for your own 2−3 trucks while guiding a team of dispatchers to success. You’ll work closely with leadership, ensure alignment with KPIs, and directly impact team efficiency, profitability, and driver satisfaction.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Supervise and support a team of dispatchers to meet company goals
• Personally dispatch and manage 2−3 company trucks
• Track performance metrics (RPM, miles, deadhead, margins) and coach team accordingly
• Escalate and resolve operational challenges from brokers, drivers, or internal issues
• Assist with onboarding, training, and discipline within the team
• Help develop dispatcher bonus and motivation programs
• Maintain a balance between efficiency, service quality, and fleet profitability
• Report results, challenges, and improvements directly to upper management

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in U.S. trucking dispatch
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Experience working with KPIs, TMS platforms, and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop)
• High stress tolerance, strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills and personal accountability
• English — Upper Intermediate (B2+) or higher
