PR manager

Gen.Ukrainian is a non-governmental organization that focuses on issues of childhood during war and the mental health rehabilitation of children and adolescents who have experienced profound psychological trauma.

Our mission is to ensure that war does not rob children of their childhood or become a burden on their future. We work to address the psychological, social, and educational needs of affected children.

As we expand our activities, we are looking for a highly organized and proactive PR Manager to join our team.

Work format: full-time, office-based in Kyiv.

Key Responsibilities:

PR and External Communications:

• Develop and implement PR campaigns, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Build and maintain relationships with Ukrainian media, journalists, and bloggers.
• Coordinate with editorial teams on inquiries and collaborative projects.
• Maintain an up-to-date media and journalist database.
• Pitch press materials and stories to media outlets.
• Write press releases, news articles, and pitches.
• Prepare speakers with talking points, speeches, and media materials.
• Generate ideas for special projects and manage them end-to-end.
• Support fundraising campaigns in media and the public space.

Project Activities:

• Prepare presentations, reports, and proposals.
• Develop, plan, and implement social projects.
• Monitor the execution of key initiatives aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee task completion.

We Expect:

• Proactivity, initiative, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in PR, media relations, and communications project implementation.
• Motivation to drive social change and work in a mission-driven setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
• Experience in communication with partners and vendors.
• Good skills in writing news, press releases, and analytical or informational content according to editorial standards.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Canva.
