Part-Time Bookkeeper (Remote)

We are a construction company based in the United States seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will manage payroll and accounting tasks, primarily using Xero.

Position Details:

• Hours: 10−20 hours per month (flexible schedule).
• Location: Remote.
• Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Xero accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes.
  • Experience working with U.S.-based businesses.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage transactions, reconcile accounts, and handle financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, such as transaction categorization and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting and payroll regulations.
• Generate financial reports as needed.
• Collaborate with the business owner to maintain accurate financial records.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in construction-related bookkeeping is a plus.
• Familiarity with U.S. tax laws and reporting.
