    Опис вакансії

    Job description

    • Preparation of full cycle payroll using QuickBooks for 100+drivers
    • Responding to payroll related queries
    • Receive, compile and input payroll hours into system
    • Compile payroll reports, statements and summaries
    • Prepare and balance period-end reports, journal entries and reconcile issued payroll to bank accounts
    • Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies
    • Address employee’s pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information
    • Process new hires and terminations (including ROE’s)
    • Remain current on payroll and reporting legislative requirements and ensure regulatory compliance
    • Remaining up-to-date with filing of personnel documents and payroll files
    • Remittances: WSIB, EHT, Payroll, WSIB, etc.
    • Support A/P, A/R processes on an as-needed basis with daily reconciliations
    • Interface with external accountants
    • Perform daily data entry into QuickBooks and Fleetsoft
    • Full cycle for Moncton location
    • Full cycle for in-house repairs shop
    • Inventory control: equipment, tires, parts, etc
    • Other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

    Skills & Requirements:

    • 2+ years experience in processing full-cycle payroll
    • Certificate or Diploma with a concentration in Payroll/Accounting preferred
    • Solid understanding of Canadian payroll processes, procedures & legislation
    • Above average communication, interpersonal & conflict resolution skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment
    • Detail oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
    • Proven ability to meet varied deadlines in a high-volume data entry role
    • Demonstrated ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
    • Advanced data entry skills
    • Solid computer skills — proficiency with MS Office applications is a must (specifically Excel)
    • Flexible, adaptable and responsive to change
    • Clear telephone voice and ability to communicate in English
