We’re Hiring: Grant Writing Expert (Part-Time)

📍 Location: Remote (Ukraine-based contractors preferred; occasional Kyiv meetings possible)

📅 Contract Type: Independent Consultant | Initial 6-month contract with possible extension

ICF «Ukrainian Foundation for Public Health» (UFPH) is a national charitable foundation launched by HealthRight International to empower local efforts that provide life-saving services to Ukraine’s most vulnerable women, children, and youth. Active since 2005, we focus on preventing social orphanhood, addressing gender-based violence, combatting HIV and AIDS, and building community resilience through partnerships, psychosocial support, and policy advocacy.

Your Role

Grant writers are sought to support the organization in identifying, drafting, and submitting compelling proposals for donor and partner funding, including administrative and health services-focused grants.

Contract writers will work closely with program, technical, and finance teams to develop high-quality applications aligned with HealthRight’s mission to strengthen health systems and improve access for marginalized populations.

Who You Are:

We are seeking talented professionals with at least 3−5 years of experience, a solid track record of securing funding, and strong writing skills in the health and development sectors.

You’re well-versed in global health issues—including mental health and RMNCAH—and know how to navigate the complexities of international development.

You’ve successfully worked with donor templates and compliance requirements from major funders like the UN, USAID/BHA, OCHA, FCDO, and GFFO, and can confidently tailor proposals to fit their frameworks.

You possess excellent written communication and editing skills in English and if available, Ukraine.

Certification in grant writing is preferred but not required.
