We are building Figure Skate Assistant — an AI-powered platform designed specifically for figure skaters.

The product combines:

• AI chat and coaching
• knowledge retrieval (RAG)
• video analysis
• technique feedback
• training recommendations

Responsibilities

• Build AI chat experiences using LLMs
• Implement retrieval systems (RAG)
• Develop video upload and processing pipelines
• Work with pose estimation and computer vision tools
• Design structured AI outputs and coaching workflows
• Build backend APIs and frontend interfaces
• Collaborate closely with the founder on product decisions

• One of the key technical challenges is converting limited 2D pose information from consumer videos into useful 3D movement understanding. Some skating elements look very similar in 2D, while the actual difference exists in depth, edge quality, body orientation, or takeoff mechanics.
