Safety Manager (Night Shift, Weekends)

CTS Express Inc. is a company with over 15 years of experience in the U.S. freight transportation market. Over the past two years, we have expanded our fleet from 20 to 78 trucks and continue to add more. As a result, we are looking for safety manager (Night Shift / Weekends) to join our team.

Schedule: saturday-sunday, 2 PM — 2 AM or 2 AM — 2 PM (Chicago time)

Main Responsibilities:

• Logbook checking
• Monitoring HOS compliance
• Roadside assistance support for drivers
• Fuel assistance and fuel verification
• Helping drivers during DOT inspections
• Communicating with drivers regarding safety and compliance issues
• Monitoring violations and helping prevent compliance problems

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of HOS rules and FMCSA regulations
• Understanding of logbooks and ELD systems
• English level: B2 minimum
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate with drivers professionally
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Will be a plus:

• Understanding of truck/trailer repairs
• Experience with reefer trailers
