AutoCAD Designer (Interior Design, Furniture Drafter)

Location: 100% Remote or Kyiv (hybrid)

Join an international design team creating premium residential interiors for the USA market. We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Drafter who enjoys turning interior design concepts into clear, accurate technical drawings. You will work closely with colleagues in Ukraine and designers in Miami, helping bring beautiful interior projects from concept into reality

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update AutoCAD drawing packages based on design concepts & visualizations
• Create plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and basic furniture drawings
• Add dimensions, notes, and other necessary technical information
• Make changes and revisions as projects develop
• Check drawings for accuracy, consistency, and correct dimensions
• Make sure drawings follow the approved design concept and interior design standards
• Support designers and project managers during design development and project estimates
• Clarify technical details with the design team when needed
• Organize AutoCAD files and maintain a clear structure of documentation
• Coordinate project details with the Miami design team in written English

• Important — We are looking for a person with real professional experience in technical drawing. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or experience only from courses will not be enough for this role. The right candidate should be able to understand the logic of an interior space and independently translate a design concept into accurate technical documentation

Must have

• Strong professional knowledge of AutoCAD
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of interior spaces and standard furniture dimensions
• You can turn creative ideas into a clear technical document
• Ability to read design concepts, plans, and visualizations
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Manage several projects or tasks at the same time
• Ukrainian language for communication with colleagues
• English for daily written communication

Nice to have

• Experience preparing drawings for custom furniture
• Hands-on experience with residential interior projects
• Experience with premium residences or high-end interiors
• Understanding of construction or project coordination
• Understanding of furniture production processes

Work format

• Full-time position
• Remote or hybrid work
• Candidates based in Kyiv can work from a comfortable office
• Regular working hours: 10:00—19:00 Kyiv time
• Occasionally, joint online meetings with the US team — may take place between 20:00 and 21:00 Kyiv time
• After a late meeting — you start work proportionally later the next day
