Transportation Safety Coordinator

We are a growing transportation company seeking a full-time remote Safety Coordinator to support our Safety and Compliance Department.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable working with drivers in a fast-paced environment. Previous trucking or transportation experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor HOS/ELD compliance and follow up on driver violations
• Maintain Driver Qualification (DQ) files, CDLs, medical cards, MVRs, and expiration dates
• Review and track DOT roadside inspections, violations, and Out-of-Service events
• Coordinate corrective actions with drivers and the maintenance department
• Track truck/trailer maintenance and annual DOT inspections
• Handle accident documentation and insurance claims follow-up
• Assist with FMCSA/DOT compliance, Clearinghouse, CSA/SMS, and DataQs
• Maintain safety records, reports, spreadsheets, and compliance reminders

Requirements

• Experience in trucking, transportation safety, or DOT compliance preferred
• Knowledge of HOS/ELD and FMCSA regulations is a strong advantage
• Strong English communication and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
• Comfortable with spreadsheets, email, and online systems
• Able to work independently and communicate professionally with drivers
• Reliable computer, internet connection, and availability during U.S. business hours
