About the RoleWe are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Safety & Compliance Specialist to manage violations, streamline tracking, and help maintain our fleet’s high safety standards. If you have solid experience in US logistics safety, understand how FMCSA violations happen, and know how to effectively coach drivers to prevent future issues, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Ticket & Violation Processing: Receive incoming fines, tickets, and DOT reports, log them accurately into our internal system, and maintain an up-to-date master tracking log.
• Root-Cause Analysis: Investigate each violation to understand why it occurred by cross-referencing pre-trip inspection logs, maintenance records, and driver history.
• Driver Coaching & Communication: Conduct direct post-violation debriefs and targeted coaching sessions with drivers to address errors, reinforce safety standards, and prevent repeat infractions.
• Court & Legal Tracking: Monitor pending driver court cases, keep track of critical deadlines, and contact US courts/clerks when necessary to resolve outstanding issues.
• Corrective Actions (CAPA): Implement and monitor actionable corrective measures (retrainings, process tweaks) to ensure ongoing fleet compliance.

Requirements

• US Logistics Safety Experience: Minimum 9+ months of hands-on experience in US trucking safety (open to various previous job titles, provided you understand FMCSA regulations, violation types, maintenance logs, and driver compliance).
• Fluent English: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced (confident written communication and verbal fluency for speaking with driver teams and US court clerks).
• Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail to spot discrepancies, find root causes, and systematically resolve issues.
• Autonomy: Ability to manage violations and driver follow-ups end-to-end with minimal supervision.
