Lafarge Gips

Lafarge Gypsum Division is operating actively in the Ukrainian market of building materials since November 2000 just after acquisition of control share holding of CJSC “Stromgyps” (Artemivsk, Donets’k region).

In the last year Lafarge launched the building of the new facility to produce plasterboard and formulated products in Ukraine.
Nowadays ZAT “Lafarge Gips” offers for Ukrainian installers and producers building plaster and gypsum stone for cement production. In addition, the company presents in the Ukrainian market the company Lafarge Nida Gips offering plasterboard, formulated products and accessories made in Poland and German and realizes technical consultations for Ukrainian customers.

The company ZAT “Lafarge Gips” directs their attention mainly to the end user offering for the building sector and wide sections of the population innovative solutions which do our life and our environment safe and comfortable.

The history of Lafarge starts since 1833. Nowadays the Lafarge Group is a world leader in production of building materials. Lafarge takes n°1 position in the world in Cement and Roofing, n°2 in Aggregates & Concrete and n°3 position in Gypsum.

With a workforce of 77,000 people, the Lafarge Group presents 2,100 plants in 75 countries.
